That’s according to what retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer told Fox News.

Lt. Col. Tony Schafer told Fox News that sources were telling him that the President was watching the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya in real-time. Schafer told Fox that “only the President” could have ordered backup for the Americans who were under siege by terrorists so the President was most certainly informed of the situation as it was unfolding. “I hate to say this,” Schafer said, “according to my sources, yes, [the President] was one of those in the White House situation room in real-time watching this. And the question becomes, ‘What did the President do or not do in the moments he saw this unveiling?’ He — only he — could issue a directive to Secretary of Defense Panetta to do something.”

Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Leon Panneta’s excuse was that his intelligence of what was happening in Benghazi was “sketchy.”

Mr. Panetta decried “a lot of Monday-morning quarterbacking” in the questions his department has faced about why it didn’t send help in the middle of an hours-long assault on the U.S. Consulate.

Mr. Panetta said the military had forces positioned to respond, but the situation was too uncertain to send them in.

“The basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on, without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” he said. “It was really over before, you know, we had the opportunity to really know what was happening.”

First off, we now know that there were drones over Benghazi. Also, the job of the soldier is to go into harm’s way and to fight. That’s what they’re trained for. So what is all this business about not wanting to put soldiers in harm’s way?

As I see it, our current White House occupant is a Marxist, Muslim hater of white people and Jews who preferred to sacrifice the American (infidel) ambassador, Seals, and other staff, rather than raise a hand against his fellow terrorist brothers.

Also, what’s all this business about waiting to get all the information???? What more information does this miserable failure of a president need? Whether he calls it a reaction to YouTube video or a terrorist attack, our consulate was breached and attacked by a mob of fanatics. As a result, we have four dead Americans. If this happened under Ronald Reagan, those Libyans would have already had several bombs sent their way.

And on another note, why on earth did Mitt Romney not bring up this Benghazi mess in the third debate? In all honesty, I didn’t watch it because I had a feeling he would pull a John McCain, and I was proven correct. What is wrong with Republicans these days?

Of course they were. After all, Barack Hussein Obama did not want to offend or deter his Muslim terrorist brothers.

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to “stand down,” according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to “stand down.”

What is with Republicans these days? While arguing conservative talking points is all well and good, it’s just not going to cut it any more, especially when you had Joe Biden yelling, smirking, and giggling like a hyena predator throughout the debate.

So while Ryan was spouting numbers, which he’s good at, Biden was walking all over him, and making Republicans look uncaring and out of touch with average Americans. Republicans need to stop playing nice with these looting Democrat thugs.

Ryan should have at least tried to call out Biden on several of his lies.

On another note, considering that Ryan is a big fan of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged, he should have been all over Biden for his comments about the supposed 120,000 millionaire families who “have more than they need.”

This blogger, who I think should have debated in Ryan’s place, has posted what really should have been said to bitch slap Biden (and Obama) once and for all.

If the media had done its job properly four years ago, we wouldn’t have gotten stuck with this Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson clone.

Now imagine if this money was being spent to fix churches in America. The ACLU would be up in arms about “church and state.” But when it comes to Muslims whose leaders are hostile to America, it’s all fine and dandy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A Channel 2 Action News investigation found that the State Department is sending millions of dollars to save mosques overseas. This investment has received criticism as the United States makes an effort to slash nearly $4 trillion in government spending.Plenty of outrage following the announcement made Thursday afternoon by a government commission that suggested huge cuts to the budget, including eliminating the interest education for home mortgage. This juxtaposed with the United States investing millions to refurbish mosques as a good-will effort in Muslim countries has upset many taxpayer groups.

“We are spending money we don’t have. This is all on a gigantic credit card right now,” said Jared Thomas, a taxpayer advocate.

Millions more dollars have been sent to places like Cyprus. The State Department displays before and after pictures of mosques refurbished with U.S. tax dollars.

“I think it is very hard to explain to the American taxpayer right now whose having an extraordinary time paying bills and making ends meet that this is why we took this out of your paycheck, so we can fund this,” said Thomas.

The State Department declined a Channel 2 Action News request for an interview. We wanted to ask why are we using tax dollars to refurbish religious buildings overseas. The State Department did send Channel Two Action News an e-mail saying that they are fighting Islamic extremism by building relationships with Islamic leaders.

Post-American is how the great Daniel Greenfield, who runs the blog Sultan Knish describes Obama’s foreign policy of groveling before the Islamic savage mobs who have been on a rampage as a result of some cheaply made movie clips on YouTube.

After all, who cares if the video was offensive, or in poor taste, or whatever our elites are saying? Since when is freedom from being “offended” a civil right? I personally am offended that those barbaric mobs in Libya were able to kill our ambassador (who was quite the Arabist), along with three others. After all, an American embassy abroad is U.S. soil. And that fact is, America was attacked. As far as I’m concerned, those barbaric hordes should have all been pumped full of lead, and their so-called ambassadors thrown out of the U.S. But that could have never happened, thanks to the moronette ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson, who was appointed by Obama.

What’s even more unbelievable is that Obama’s poll numbers are still hovering at around 47%. It just proves that what Mitt Romney said about Obama supporters was 100% true.

The burning embassies and authorities scurrying to intimidate the Mohammed filmmaker into making some kind of apology or going to jail, as their British predecessors bullied Salman Rushdie into doing, reveal the naked order of the new world. It isn’t a place of treaties or laws, but of naked force and we will not be the ones doing the forcing.

In the new world order we will cower behind our televisions while the global mob, composed of whoever has the most surviving kids living on international handouts, will tell us what laws they want us to live under. Any order that takes its laws from savages will be an order of savages, no matter how urbane and cultured the men and women who have chosen to act as their international representatives, while pretending to be ours, are. The world order envisioned by 19th Century Europeans is now a secret negotiation between their criminally idiotic descendants, who still go to all the right schools, and a mob of savages and their oil-rich patrons. Their global order is not taking us to the 22nd Century, but back to the 7th Century, and of all the things that they owe us, the least of them is to be honest about that.

In a hidden camera video shot at a Romney fundraiser, Mitt Romney gave an honest assessment of Obama supporters and why they’ll never vote Republican. Personally I see nothing wrong with what he said. It is what it is.

Of course, the media, which has been engaging in non-stop Obama Fellatio for these past five years, is full of self righteous anger. I mean, how dare rich white straight Mitt Romney say anything mean about Obama zombies!!!

Need I remind you of Obama lover Peggy Joseph, who believed Obama would pay for her gas, her mortgage, and who knows what else?

Fortunately, it seems like Governor Romney has found a backbone, as he is standing by his comments! Let’s hope he keeps it.

A public university in Colorado is offering college credit to students to campaign for Obama.

A public university in Colorado may have violated state law by offering students course credit if they volunteered with President Obama’s re-election campaign. A blog post on the Adams State University website billed the opportunity as a “12 week long organizing internship for the Obama Campaign.”

Both the blog post and the course are now gone. The course was canceled due to lack of interest, according to the university. The blog post was taken down earlier this week after a conservative student blog, Campus Reform, reported on it.

The course may have been in violation of the Colorado Fair Campaign Practices Act, which prohibits the use of public resources toward “campaigns involving the nomination, retention, or election of any person to any public office.” Oliver Darcy, the editor at Campus Reform who first reported the story, said the course struck him as a likely violation of state law.

“They are definitely using a few professors at least to help these students with the campaign process, so I don’t understand how it doesn’t use public resources for campaign purposes,” he said in an interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation.

A spokesperson for the university said the blog post was mistaken about the nature of the course, and that students would have been allowed to volunteer with any campaign.

“This is an independent study course that would be available to any student in any campaign,” said Julie Waechter, a spokesperson for ASU, in an interview with TheDC News Foundation.

Waechter declined to give the name of the employee who authorized the course. Dodie Day, the administrator who posted the blog entry, declined to comment.

According to Waechter, the Obama administration reached out to the university about hosting such an offer.

“The Obama campaign did approach the school. Others campaigns did not,” she said, adding that the school would have considered a similar offer from the Republican campaign of Gov. Mitt Romney.

Earlier this week, Wood reported on a similar instance of liberal political activity entering the classroom at Ohio State University. Professor Brian McHale wrote an e-mail to colleagues asking them to set aside class time for campaign organizers to pitch students on getting involved with the Obama campaign.

“I’ve been in touch with a couple of campus organizers for the Obama campaign, who have asked me to pass along to all of you a request for access to your classes in the next few weeks,” wrote McHale in the e-mail.
