Bill Clinton on Dubai Ports Deal
We know now that Hillary Clinton is against this Dubai Ports deal. And I agree with her on that. But where does Bill stand? In case any of you are wondering why he has not voiced an opinion, I think it’s safe to say our former President is in bed with the UAE government.
That’s probably because the former president has repeatedly urged closer ties between the U.S. and the United Arab Emirates over the years – not to mention the fact that he’s accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars from the country’s leaders, and even sponsors a college scholarship program that sends U.S. students to study in the UAE.
The web site for Mr. Clinton’s presidential foundation proudly boasts:
“With an aim to create a partnership for bridging the gap of cultural understanding between America and the Arab world, President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Scholars at the American University in Dubai.
In fact, it was Clinton who advised Dubai to suggest a 45 day review period to allow for an investigation of this deal.
Unfortunately, Bill Clinton is not Dubai’s only bed partner. There’s also First Brother Neil Bush’s company Ignite! which received millions of dollars from Dubai. Ignite! also has lucrative “No Child Left Behind” contracts in Florida and Texas.
So I guess President Jorge Wahhabi Bush is just returning some favors, never mind American sovereignty or national security.
