Osama Bin Laden Finally Gets His 72 Helen Thomases

Bin Laden has finally been killed by the U.S. military.

Osama bin Laden, hunted as the mastermind behind the worst-ever terrorist attack on U.S. soil, has been killed, sources told ABC News.

Bin Laden was killed in a ground attack by Joint Special Operations Command forces working with the CIA, not a drone strike, a national security source told ABC News.

According to a national security source, a compound in Pakistan where therror mastermind was believed to be had been monitored for months. When the decision was made to move on it, special operations forces were sent across the border from Afghanistan to launch a ground attack and take the body.

DNA testing confirmed that it was bin Laden, sources told ABC News.

Of course this is good news. Unfortunately, there are no shortages of Bin Ladens in this world, as there are many people, in the Middle East, and in the West, who agree with what Bin Laden stood for. So what do we do about them? Of course I’m all for killing terrorists and all their accomplices wherever they are. However, having our military try to democratize the Muslim world is not the answer. America first needs to get off oil, and then all immigration from countries hostile to America must stop.

And replace oil with…? Nice rhetoric, but that just sends us back to the stone ages.

While ingenuity works at a solution, let’s start opening up the oil fields we have in our own possession, right here, right now, while a viable alternative to power transportation is found. And for darn sure stop paying the Brazilian Communists to deep-water drill in the gulf. If they want the oil, let them foot the bill to get it!

In the meantime, I’m very glad that mis-shapen piece of pig poop got his come-uppance, but was disappointed at the cheering crowds in Times Square. Reminded me of the muzzie celebrations after 9/11 (without the flag-burnings).
