Muslims Making Demands In Mid-Town Manhattan

The thing that’s giving them agita this time is the opening of the Breslin restaurant in the Ace Hotel on Broadway and 29th Street, where alcohol will be served.
After the recent FergusStock, a festival during which famed British chef Fergus Henderson cooked whole pigs for a rapt crowd of New York chefs and foodies, Mr. Friedman said the mosque’s leaders called a meeting with the hotel. “They said, ‘Can you move the bar?’” he said. “And I laughed. And the guy said, ‘Oh, you think that’s funny?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, that is funny, that is really funny, because we’re not going to move the bar just because you discovered we’re serving booze.’ Can you name one restaurant in New York that doesn’t serve booze?”
Mr. Friedman and his partner, Spotted Pig chef April Bloomfield, did agree to nix plans for a dive bar in a townhouse next door, but as for the restaurant, “I said, ‘This is the United States of America and we’ll do whatever the fuck we want.’” He said the mosque had suggested it couldn’t control the behavior of “a few bad eggs”; i.e., “we could get a brick through our window.” Mr. Friedman said he made the police aware of this threat.
In other words, it’s not enough for members of this mosque to avoid drinking alchohol. They don’t want to even look at other non-Muslims drinking, eating and enjoying themselves, which is really pushing it. So if they don’t want to even look at other people drinking, why don’t they just go back to where they came from?

Hmm, you don’t find Mormons threatening to throw bricks through the windows of places that serve alcohol.

And so it’s started. The whine-meter will increase monthly from now on because these poor, picked on minority victims just can’t hold the thought of peace for more than a couple of nanoseconds without that thought being tied to the coming caliphate.
And as far as the restaurant goes, if so much as a scratch on the surface of the building occurs I would sue the peace-loving mosque (who can’t seem to take responsibility for teaching peace) for enough to make the total awarded damages against the Catholic Church in the United States look like monopoly money.

Carlos, pork is also forbidden for Jews to eat. However, you’ll never hear of Jews anywhere bitching and moaning about having to see people in restaurants eating pork/ham.

Just the sight of Jews upsets those of the “religion of peace”, so why aren’t they screaming to get them away from their mosque?
And, quite frankly, come to think of it, I’m tired of seeing them (muslims) on the street, too. Couldn’t they do their business, live their lives, somewhere else so that people like me aren’t offended by seeing people who want to kill me in the name of their god?
Just a thought. You can censure it if you like.
