I’m Back — Sort Of
A while back, I wrote here that I would be on a blog hiatus. I just have a lot going on personally. So I’ve been feeling burned out, depressed and no long interested in what used to give me pleasure, like this blog.
However, I have been following the news, which is mostly bad. I’ve also been wondering what the point of blogging really is.
After all, despite warnings from right wing blogs and some other news outlets, the majority of Americans went and elected a black supremacist Marxist Muslim America hater who is purposely destroying this country.
Reader Carlos has been nice enough to check in on me every so often. He wrote that he was surprised that I didn’t post about one of our soldiers killed by a black Muslim convert outside a military recruiting station in Arkansas. Normally, I would be all over it. But now I’m just sad. Unfortunately, I think stuff like this will happen more often. And I don’t think Obama’s popularity will lessen either. The Democrats have a majority in the Senate and House. The media is more in love with Obama than ever. The Republicans have become a group of spineless, mealy-mouthed wimps whose only mantra is lower taxes. As a result of their kid-glove treatment of Obama during the campaign, they lost. Quite frankly, McCain, his moron campaign manager, and anyone else that proposed this kid glove approach all deserve to be flipping burgers at McDonalds. They are to blame for Obama being in the White House.
Perhaps by posting again, I can let off steam rather than holding it all in.

Totally understand what you’ve been feeling. Many of us have all taken some down-time. Have to do that sometimes. Glad to see you back!
