My Run-In With A Police Office At The Pro-Hamas Rally
It was a freezing cold day in Manhattan, but I trekked over to Times Square anyway, because I wanted to cover the shenanigans of the pro-Hamas crowd.
So I took the subway to Times Square. And when I exited the subway, I found myself smack in the middle of the pro-Hamas rally. So I snapped a few pictures, and tried looking for the pro-Israel counter protest, which I couldn’t find. Then I ran into Judith of Kesher Talk, who was also there to take pictures. Anyway, while Judith and I were talking, a police officer told us we had to move out of the way. When I asked him where the counter protest was, he said he didn’t know. It was at that point that a keffiyeh clad woman said to me “Boo hoo, you don’t have anyone on your side. So I said to her, “Fuck Palestine, you communist bitch.” Apparently, the police officer was a Muslim, because he said to me, “I can’t allow that kind of talk. We have to keep it civilized.” So I said to him “Bwahahahahahaaaa! Why don’t you tell that to your friends?” and left with Judith.

Have you all forgotten about the 5,000 bombs targeting Israeli citizens? No big news headlines about them. Why is it so different now?
