Mother of Slain GI Demands Audience With President Bush
Back in June, I wrote about the anti-war lioness Cindy Sheehan whose son was killed in Iraq, and who said the following about President Bush:
?We?re watching you very carefully and we?re going to do everything in our power to have you impeached for misleading the American people,? she said, quoting a letter she sent to the White House. ?Beating a political stake in your black heart will be the fulfillment of my life ? ,? she said, as the audience of 200 people cheered.
Notice the violent imagery coming from someone who’s supposedley anti-war…
Anway, she’s back to her old tricks. This time, she’s camping out in front of President Bush’s Crawford ranch and demanding to speak with him personally.
“I’m angry. I want the troops home,” Cindy Sheehan, 48, of Vacaville, Calif., who staged a protest that she vowed on Sunday to continue until she can personally ask Bush: “Why did you kill my son? What did my son die for?”
Why is it that liberals are always either unwilling or unable to place blame where blame is due? This woman’s son did a good thing by choosing to fight for his country. Death is always a risk when joining the army. But no! Just like Uber Moonbat and ANSWER mouthpiece Michael Berg, Sheehan doesn’t hold the savage hoodlum terrorists responsible. It’s always President Bush’s fault.
“If he doesn’t come out and talk to me in Crawford, I’ll follow him to D.C.,” she said. “I’ll camp on his lawn in D.C. until he has the courtesy and the integrity and the compassion to talk to somebody whose life he has ruined.”
Always, “me me me me” with these people. Personally, I think the real reason for Cindy Sheehan’s rage, at least, is that her son turned out to be a good conservative, and I get the feeling that she would consider that a bad thing. So, rather than admit to herself that she (supposedly) f—-d up as a parent, she instead chooses to lash out at the “big bad conservatives” in charge.

After being IN the Army for 14 years before being medicaly discharged, I can give you a theory: A LOT of the new recruits, not counting the ones since 9/11, enlisted soley for the college money. They NEVER expected or even imagined that they would one day actually have to DO thier job for real. Some adapted very well, some not so good. However, thier parents are horrified. They too thought that thier collage bound kids would be in and out. “They” are usually those baby-boomer-loser-Leftist-liberal-pinko-commies that went the last thirty years in the “ME” error, not thinking about saving for thier kids college. Instead they spent thier two parent carrier money on stuff like boats, car leases, and houses they can’t realy afford, just to impress thier friends.

heh. It drove my pinko mother CRAZY when I joined the Marines. It drove her even MORE crazy when I didn’t try to fake my way out of going to Saudi Arabia for Desert Fun I.
Since I don’t have any real hands-on experience with the other branches, I’ll speak only of the Corps….
Boot Camp ain’t known for returning its attendees to their parents in the same state they arrived. Brats, punks, wannabes, dirtbags and the occassional Yuppie go in, Marines come out. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. It really sucks going through it.
“You zombies will get off of my island one of two ways: smart, or dumb and strong.” Senior Drill Instructor Staff Sargeant Bowers, Platoon 3000, 1st Series, India Company, 3rd Recruit Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. I’ll never forget those words for as long as I live.
Anyhoo, this moonbat is pissed because she sent the military a spoiled rotten brat, and they returned to her a MAN.

According to Drudge, this Sheehan had nice things to say about the President’s visit to her family last year, only to change her story now.
Humble Devildog,
My grandfather was a 1930s era communist, and my father went to work for the Navy Department as a civilian. Even that was too much for my grandfather, who used to say that the Navy “brainwashed” my Dad.

I think Sheehan is also a media whore.
