ELECTION ’08: WHAT THE MEDIA WON’T SAY ABOUT RACE
The other day Kansas governor Sebelius basically accused Republicans of being racists if they don’t vote for Obama.
Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius accused Republicans on Tuesday of injecting race into the presidential campaign, arguing that they are using “code language” to convince Midwesterners that Democrat Barack Obama is different from them.
“Have any of you noticed that Barack Obama is part African-American?” Sebelius asked with sarcasm. “(Republicans) are not going to go lightly into the darkness.”
But isn’t it Obama the one who accuses the Republicans of engaging in “dirty politics” and attack ads? Isn’t Obama the one who talks about “hope” and “change?”
Note in te referenced link above how the media is scrambling to erase references to republicans. They know. They are afraid.
Of what? Keep reading. I just have another example of the media hyping this.
Cafferty of CNN is mouthing this nonsense:
Will race be the factor that keeps Obama from the White House?
Race is arguably the biggest issue in this election, and it’s one that nobody’s talking about.
The differences between Barack Obama and John McCain couldn’t be more well-defined. Obama wants to change Washington. McCain is a part of Washington and a part of the Bush legacy. Yet the polls remain close. Doesn’t make senseā¦unless it’s race.
Time magazine’s Michael Grunwald says race is the elephant in the room. He says Barack Obama needs to tread lightly as he fights back against the McCain-Palin campaign attacks.
The media need to very careful here. They keep accusing and slapping republicans of being “racist” without giving any consideration to the fact that we aren’t going to vote against a candidate simply based on color. It’s obvious that of the two parties, it is the Republicans who are not afraid of color (Thomas, Powell, Rice, etc.) We vote based on experience, values, and ability to lead the country in the right direction. That direction does not include socialism. Obama is ALL ABOUT socialism. If he were white we would not vote for him. If McCain were black we’d STILL vote for him.
It’s just this: pretty soon a shitstorm of counter ads or commentary will be coming out asking, and wondering why, if half of all whites, who make up 60% of our population, and don’t vote for Obama are considered “RACISTS” can’t the same thing be said for blacks who, as 13% of the population, will have 90% of them blindly voting for Obama? Proportionately doesn’t that make them almost twice as racist?
So who’s REALLY the racist? Better yet, who are really the morons?

Notice how the McCain adds are always “attack adds”? On the local NBC station in Kansas City, they always announce new McCain adds as the latest McCain Attack Add.
I remember discussing this almost a year ago that if Obama is the Democrat candidate, everything brought up against him will be considered racist. I didn’t think though that not voting for him will be considered racist?
