Current events, politics and life in general from the perspective of a conservative woman in New York

LIBERALS ARE RABIDLY UNHINGED

Now, skank-ho Janeane Garafolo has joined the looney brigade in calling for the jailing of all republicans.

Gee, Janeane, doesn’t that smack of the facism you are so quick to accuse the Bush administration of?

Hollywood activist Janeane Garofalo, a Barack Obama supporter, expressed agitation over the overnight national popularity of GOP vice presidential nod Gov. Sarah Palin, who has helped running mate John McCain pull within the statistical margin of error of Obama in many polls.

Garofalo ridiculed her as an empty pantsuit who lacks a firm grasp of the issues.

Fund defended Palin and her experience and warned that such Palin-bashing will only create a backlash in the heartland against Democrats. “Keep it up,” he taunted Garofalo and other critics on the panel.

“You guys are the kings of petty, nasty rhetoric,” Garofalo snapped at Fund, who writes for the Wall Street Journal.

She then slammed the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., as a gathering of “small-minded, very petty (and) mean” delegates and speakers who simply grinded out “red meat” for the “dopes” in the red states.

“It’s all limbic brain stuff,” she said.

Furthermore, and call me all the rude names you want, but I have no respect for women sporting the amount of tattoos she does. It says a lot about her and onone of it is good.

Then we have a professor (PROFESSOR!!!) telling students to undermine Sarah Palin. Is it a political science class? No. Is it a history class? No!

It’s an ENGLISH class.

Students in an English class at Metropolitan State College in Denver have been told to assemble criticisms of GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin that “undermine” her, and students say they are concerned about the apparent bias.

“This so-called ‘assignment’ represents indoctrination in its purist form,” said Matt Barber, director of Cultural Affairs with Liberty Counsel, whose sister, Janna, is taking the class from Andrew Hallam, a new instructor at the school.

The instructor also, according to students, is harshly critical of President Bush during his classroom English presentations. He reportedly has allowed students who identify themselves as “liberal” to deride and ridicule those who identify themselves as “conservative” or Republican.

“So much for critical thinking. What’s happening in that classroom represents a microcosm for what’s happening with the angry left around the country,” Matt Barber told WND. “The visceral and even abusive reaction Hallam and some of his students are having against Sarah Palin and Republican students in the class is occurring on a much larger scale among left-wing elitists throughout the media, academia and the larger Democratic Party.”

I hope they fire the SOB.

Even Tom Brokaw joins in the act by trying to put Mayor Giuliani on the spot with the use of the “Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor” line.

And let’s not forget that moonbat photographer for “Atlantic” who took the creepy photos of McCain.

This is an example of what she did afterwards:

Even more disturbing is how the magazine failed to check her out beforehand. They claim they don’t vet for “politics” but a quick check would have seen she’d not have been a good fit for the job.

So now they are apologizing to McCain, not paying her, and threatening to sue her. Yeah, right! That’ll be the day.

McCain should sue the woman that took those pictures. Just because she took them does not mean she has ‘artistic license’ to do what she did. That is still his image and that was not what the photos were meant to be taken for. There has got to be something he can do – someone has to do something to put these petty idiots back in their place. What world do they actually live in!

  2. Mike Zimmerman Says:

There is only one time I have ever seen a presidential campaign in such disarray as we now see the Obama campaign. That was the McGovern campaign of 1972, in the wake of the Eagleton affair.

For those reading this post who may have missed that chapter of history, it was shortly after George McGovern accepted the presidential nomination in 1972 that he chose Senator Thomas Eagleton of Missouri as his running mate. Eagleton was duly nominated by the convention, which then adjourned. Hardly had the campaign started, however, when it was revealed that Tom Eagleton had once been a patient in a mental institution. Faced with plummetting poll numbers, McGovern first promised to stand by his running mate and then pressured him into leaving the ticket. McGovern then chose Sargent Shriver as his running mate. But the damage was done and McGovern was knocked permanently off stride. He lost in a landslide.

May Barak Obama suffer the same fate in 2008!
