WHAT IS IT WITH THESE RETARDED MEDIA GOONS?
I’ll get to the actual interview soon but first, this.
OK, maybe the story is not that badly written but twice mention was made of Sarah Plain having only gotten her passport last year.
In other words, the LameStream Media is trying to portray the Sarahcuda as incapable of handling our foreign policy or taking care of our national defense because until last year she’d never left the US.
So let me see if I have this right. A liberal will go to a marriage counselor and speak to someone who is single or divorced and follow their advice without batting an eye. A liberal would go to a child psychologist who is childless and do whatever that person says. A liberal believes everything Al Gore tells them about the environment but Al Gore is not a scientist.
However, when it comes to Sarah Palin, she can’t be trusted with foreign policy because until last year she’d never left the US?
In other words, if she had had a passport from 10 years ago and had only gone to Brazil or Ireland on vacation while mayor, that would have been enough for the media?

Michelle Malkin has a comprehensive round-up of the lousy way Gibson did this interview.
She covers what I consider to be two main areas:
Taking quotes out of context.
Getting basic facts wrong.
The quotes thing is about Iraq
GIBSON: You said recently, in your old church, “Our national leaders are sending U.S. soldiers on a task that is from God.” Are we fighting a holy war?
PALIN: You know, I don’t know if that was my exact quote.
GIBSON: Exact words.
PALIN: But the reference there is a repeat of Abraham Lincoln’s words when he said — first, he suggested never presume to know what God’s will is, and I would never presume to know God’s will or to speak God’s words.
But what Abraham Lincoln had said, and that’s a repeat in my comments, was let us not pray that God is on our side in a war or any other time, but let us pray that we are on God’s side.
That’s what that comment was all about, Charlie.
On to the basic facts. This was the headline:
ABC News: ‘GOV. SARAH PALIN WARNS WAR MAY BE NECESSARY IF RUSSIA INVADES ANOTHER COUNTRY.’
This is what she said:
When asked by Gibson if under the NATO treaty, the U.S. would have to go to war if Russia again invaded Georgia, Palin responded: “Perhaps so. I mean, that is the agreement when you are a NATO ally, is if another country is attacked, you’re going to be expected to be called upon and help.
“And we’ve got to keep an eye on Russia. For Russia to have exerted such pressure in terms of invading a smaller democratic country, unprovoked, is unacceptable,” she told ABC News’ Charles Gibson.
And you wonder why I despise these media hyenas?

The Marxist SBS-TV station here in Australia used almost the same headline as the bent ABC News did. Sarah Palin has the loony left media in Australia with their knickers totally in a knot. SBS TV misled its viewers, thankfully not that many of them watch the station, with a messy concocted mini version of the interview. It probably had any decent folk heading for their PC’s to find out the real truth on the web.We look forward to Mrs Palin visiting Australia as your New Vice President sometime next year.
PS: Is it true Biden’s real name is Bidet? That’s what we all call him here. The other one is called something that one doesn’t use in polite society.

Ken, no one said we are polite society here. Spill the beans. Inquiring minds want to know!

The name is Reggin which comes from Regginald, which is an old Anglo-Saxon name coming from the Black Forest in Germany meaning very deep hole without a way out.The ‘ald’ is dropped as it can mean ‘old’ which of course these days can give offense to folk over 100 years of age.I have always liked the shortened version as it says it all.I hope that clears up any misunderstanding. There are some touchy people out there, these days.

I think Charlie(good name)Gordon was looking so uncomfortable at times during the interview was that he had the biggest hard on since being a teenager at a drive-in.
