Can Grown Men Be Raped By Women?
I personally have a hard time believing it, but Dr. Helen says yes.
What do you all think?

There is the sexual arousal issue.
For a MAN to rape a woman, she does not have to be sexually aroused.
A man has to be aroused (aka erection) in order to have have intercourse…….

[...] I did a short post asking if my readers think it’s possible for men to get raped. This is something I’ve had a hard time believing. And since 99% of my readers are men, I [...]

Oldcatman:
Think “strap-on”. If the victim is tied down, an erection can be forced with either drugs, or a partial tourniquet … or a combination of both.
Yea, it can be done … and if it is, it’s about power, not sex.

Oldcatman:
An erection does not = arousal, nor does it = consent. This is an old myth that bears no resemblance to fact.
Erections can be created while drugged, passed out drunk or using prostate massage, or a rapist’s hand on the penis, etc. Further, erections can be caused by fear, shock and, of course, morning wood as well. I was unconscious, unable to consent and she got me hard. Sexual arousal, consent and blood flowing to your penis are all separate concepts. See Myth #3: http://www.malesurvivor.org/myths.html and http://www.secasa.com.au/index.php/survivors/10/207
While you may think that you’d never have your body betray you, until the situation presents itself, you can’t say so definitively.

Wanted or not,The human body is programed by nature to respond to stimulation. To make an argument that Mike must have wanted or enjoyed this experience just because he achieve an erection is unfair. This woman had control of this rape when she made the threats. What was he supposed to do? I just hope no one who is making these unfair comments is ever put in this situation themselves.
July 9th, 2008 at 8:46 pm
Kevin, what was he supposed to do? Punch her fucking lights out and take his chances maybe? To use the words “put in this situation” is victimology bullshit. He put himself in that situation. And spare me the crap about what is fair or unfair. Life isn’t fair; fare is what you pay to ride the bus.
July 9th, 2008 at 8:56 pm
Joe,
What is your point?
Victim-blaming? Did you rape someone yourself so you don’t want to hear about others? Covering up your own rape?
What is the point of your posting?
Or is this an endorsement of rape?

Seduction is bi-sexual……
July 20th, 2008 at 9:21 am
I’ve known guys who were kidnapped and raped by women and I have witnessed other guys getting taken by women. This happens quite often. Regardless of what many people think, guys do get erections when they are raped because erections are a result of stimulation. There have been studies on this and there are also statistics on women who have been jailed for this crime.

Well since there are so many ignorant fucks out there, explain to me what u would term it if a man is fucked in the ass unwillingly..is that not a sexual act without consent? The fact that a man has an arousal does not mean the act in & of itself is warranted…

The posts on here just show how stupid men are. Rape is defined as non consentual sex. The problem is what sex for a man is non consentual. Men are always looking for it right?? Wrong, but the majority of men think that way so they do not think themselves a victim nor do they even identify that they have been the victim of rape. When I was young (20s) i woke up to some strange (but hot) chick giving me head. Was I raped. No way man, some hot cick was giving me head. But by definition I was. I did not consent. Men think differently were a woman would feel victimized a man would feel lucky. But until men apply the strick definition of rape that womenn do on men. Men will always been seen as the perpetrator and women as the victim. Problem is when I do informal surveys of my male friends and ask if they have ever had sex with a woman that they did not conent to, about 70% admit they have. Even after reading them the law and definition of rape, although they admit it does meet the letter of the law they do not and would not conider it rape. So I guess no victim no crime……

this is most definetly rape, on the simple fact alone that “Mike” was very drunk and the woman was not. If somebody is under 21 and intoxicated and somebody over 21 has sex with them, especially when they are passed out, that is rape. Regardles of the genders of either person, if a sober adult has sex with somebody intoxicated and under the legal drinking age sexual assault charges could very easily been filed.

I was just raped a few days ago by my sister-in-law. I am not sexually attracted to her in the least, and as much as I tried to resist, she forced an erection.
I cam out with the experience immediately, letting my brother, who is overseas, know what his wife did to me. I am currently going through grave family issues because of the matter.
As a male rape victim, or a rape victim in general, it is tough dealing with the issue. It is hard for family and friends to comprehend the fact that a man can be raped. They are my family, but deep down, they can’t accept that I was a victim. My family loves me, but they can’t help but to blame me.
The argument came up that if I really wanted to avoid it, I could have stopped her… however, as someone else mentioned, what was I supposed to do? Hit her in the face? Throw her against a wall? It was the holidays and we had family over, I was afraid that any commotion would wake them and how can I explain throwing my naked sister-in-law against a wall?
It is still very recent, so I am still trying to deal with it mentally, but Men can get raped. Even if they are physically aroused, the consent isn’t necessarily there. I kept telling her no, I even pushed her away, but she kept coming at me… there was nothing short of punching her in the face that would have stopped her.
It was the worst experience in my life.

What about when you wake up morning after morning and say to your self, “This is not suppose to be my life”, and then you realize that the mother of your children seduced into having sex and took you out of a loving relation, because of her desire to have a father for the son of a previous marriage. Is that rape?
December 27th, 2009 at 11:20 am
Leon, what do you mean by “took you out of a loving relation?”
Men have free will. No one forces them to raise other men’s children.

I mean I was very much in love with my girlfriend. I was 20 she was 17. We had great sex and were madly in love, (I didn’t no what real love was, though). I was 20 and like a stallion in heat or on the make and a long came a woman, a friends sister, 4 years older and with a son, who was getting away from her husband. The next thing I know she want to meet me at the bar, we dance and drink the night away pretty soon we are in bed together, she gets pregnant and soon were talking about our future. I didn’t her. I know I was stupid and naive for jumping into bed with her, but I bet I’m not the only one this has happened to.
December 27th, 2009 at 2:21 pm
Sorry Leon. That doesn’t sound like rape to me. It sounds more like you made a very bad decision by going with this older woman when you already had a girlfriend.
December 27th, 2009 at 2:54 pm
no doubt, a bad decision made because of raging hormones. Let it be a lesson to other young men. There are not only men who are predators, but beware of the woman predators.
