Against the wishes of Congoleeza Rice, the State Department, and several other lawmakers, our worst former President ever, Jimmy Carter insisted on going through with his touchis kissing Middle East tour.
DOHA, Qatar — Defying opposition from the Bush administration and Israel, former President Jimmy Carter met for several hours Friday night in Syria with the exiled leader of Hamas, the militant Islamist group, to discuss efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Mr. Carter also met earlier in the day with Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president, as part of a Middle East peace tour that also includes visits to Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
Rep. Joe Knollenberg wanted to defund Jimmuh’s Carter Center. And now Rep. Sue Myrick wants Congoleeza Rice to revoke his passport.

I agree with Myrick, too. There’s no reason to let Carter back into the States. Let him spend the rest of his days huggin Hamas, if that’s how he gets his jollys.
