Another Blow To Conservatives
Mitt Romney is now endorsing Juan Mexi-cain.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Republican campaign dropout Mitt Romney agreed Thursday to endorse Sen. John McCain for the party’s presidential nomination and ask his national convention delegates to swing behind the likely nominee, according to officials familiar with the decision.
Romney collected 280 delegates during his run through the early primaries and caucuses, enough to move McCain close to the total of 1,191 needed to clinch the nomination a full nine months before the November general election.

All the good little Republicans are falling in line behind the man who, just 4 years ago, said he would leave the Republican Party to be John Kerry’s running mate. Talk about a bunch of Lemmings.

We also have to remember that although Romney was the most Conservative of the three left running, he was also elected Governor of one of the most liberal states in the Union. You don’t get elected governor of Massatwoshits by being Conservative.
