Policemen Who Shot Sean Bell Questioned by Prosecutors

And to their credit, they’ve done so without being granted immunity.

Meanwhile, New York’s moonbatty Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has been bending backwards to kiss the behinds of Al Sharpton and Nicole Paultre.

…Yesterday, the state attorney general, Andrew M. Cuomo, met with the Rev. Al Sharpton and Nicole Paultre Bell, Mr. Bell?s fianc?e. Afterward, Mr. Sharpton said that during the meeting he expressed his concern to Mr. Cuomo over police procedures statewide and over the length of time it is taking prosecutors to investigate the case. In the meeting, Mr. Cuomo expressed his condolences and vowed to closely monitor the investigation, said his spokesman, Javier Gomez, who added that Mr. Cuomo made it clear that ?justice must be done and we must learn from this tragedy.?

What tragedy? Like I said in previous post, Bell and his friends used deadly force and it was returned in kind.

They’re going to hang the cops out to dry on this one.

  2. fjack Says:

If I am not mistaken these ‘young men’ had seventeen arrests between them, the club they went to was known for drug dealing and prostitution and sean bell was drunk, this may be the reason he lunged his car at the police. It is interesting to note that sharpton also went to a cuomo to demand a special prosecutor in the bawana twana banana saga, this cuomo was the governor Mario. All the cards are falling into place, the only answer is to only have black cops to ‘protect’ black areas. Any white cop that arrests a black, except when white life of property is involved, should be fired. Maybe then, will the africans be happy.

  3. BobF Says:

fjack…three of the five cops were minorities…2-Black, 1-Hispanic. A case like this only proves that it isn’t the color or nationality of the cops that Sharpton doesn’t approve of, it’s the authority the cops represent. Sharpton believes himself to be the authority in matters concerning Black people and anything that conflicts with this perceived authority, on his part, is racist.

  4. fjack Says:

    Dear BobF,
I was well aware of the racial makeup of the cops, but if you look at all the coverage of all these types of events even black cops are considered to be white. I also heard Sharton say that the cops should not have stopped Bell even if was drunk since they would have not known that he was drunk. In other words, Sharpton is saying that the cops would be racial profiling if they would have stopped him. You just can’t win with these people. Their ability to make up excuse after excuse is mind boggling to say the least.

  5. Harsh Reality Says:

I have viewd several articles regarding this incident, and I am ultimately befuddled by the lack of duality in the information offered. BobF and Fjack, you must live in NY, or something to receive said information. I would like to know more, but from where I sit, there is absolutely no reason the men should have been shot! The officers should have tried to disable the vehicle, if they felt threatened or that these men were endangering their own lives or the lives of others, for the simple fact that we as Americans are guaranteed the right to a fair trial. Instead the over-zeallous officers went straight for the kill. This is where they were wrong. If fear lives in a person the fear takes over and irrational behavior prevails, if these officers were trained correctly, than this should not have been an issue. Also, they were undercover, how would these men have known that they were being addressed by police officials? If they were drunk, they may not have understood the circumstances. There are a lot of factors missing, and I believe that if an undercover officer is to make an arrest there should be a presence of uniformed officers, preventing the, “Wow, let’s just blow the MF’s away”! Though you (Fjack) may believe that “These People” complain and fight too often for what I am guessing you to believe are lost or false causes, the difference her is “They” stick together, fight for what they believe in, and make things happen, unlike the likes of yourself. I am white, and I can see this from the outside looking in, the only difference is I respect the struggles, and in most cases would join right in. Justice is not just justice for the African Americans, it is justice for all, if it is not held stron regardless than what kind of a society do we live in? Can you honestly tell me the outcome would have been the same if the victims were white? I doubt it, if you are being honest with your self, the Harsh Reality is that these men were victimized either because they are viewed in a lesser value or a bigger threat, and I can not be certain that it is not both.

HR, the fact of the matter is that Bell and his buddies tried to run down the undercover police vehicle twice. It was only after their car smashed into the police vehicle the second time that one of the officers stood on the hood of Bell’s car with a police badge around his neck demanding that they surrender. So I just don’t understand why you think the police were being overzealous. Furthermore, this is not a black/white issue. Like I’ve written before, Bell tried using deadly force on the police van, and it was returned in kind. Yet it sounds like you want these men to have preferential treatment just because they’re black. That’s certainly what race pimpls Al Sharpton and Charles Barron want. How else would you explain their silence when blacks are murdered by other blacks, or when black police officers are killed in the line of duty?

  7. fjack Says:

According to police proceedure when they draw their weapon they are required to shot to the middle of the chest. These are police rules. If a white acts violently to a cop, the white is dead pure and simple. Now, you being a liberal believe that cops should let blacks do what ever they want, and you know what? So do I, but only when it involves their own people. When Rodney King was driving drunk and high on angel dust at 110 mph in a black area, the cops should have let him go for it. I, for one don’t care what these people do to each other, it doesn’t concern me. It is their culture and I respect their culture. The cops were majority minority in this incident. If you remember the incident in Union Square recently where two hostile tribes of africans decided to wage war on each other, the cops stopped it. The majority of those cops were white. These white cops should be fired and all their pensions should be taken away. Their only responsibilty should have been to protect the white customers and vendors of the farmers market. It the waring tribes had to be stopped it should have been done by minority affrimative action cops. All undercover operations in black areas should be suspended immediately. This club should be able to have pimps, drugs, whores and anything else that the blacks want. To have undercover operations is the same as racial profiling. If you are white, as you say you are, why not run up to a cop and slap him for cynthia mckinney and see if the cop blows you away. After he kills you, let us know.

  8. BobF Says:

HR, you talk like the cops look forward to shooting someone. Have you ever taken another human life? Have you ever done anything that allowed another person to take a human life? Cops don’t look forward to shooting another human. That cop has to live with that for the rest of his life. Cops are no different than you or me. They have feelings and emotions and will live with the consequences of their decision the rest of their lives. Many cops have quit the police force after having to shoot another person in the line of duty.

No matter how much training a man or woman has, when you fear for your life, you will defend it. In the military theirs a saying, “They’re no Atheists in fox holes”. That’s because when death is imminent, even the most devout Atheist has been heard to call out to God for deliverance. Self perseverance will take over and when a cop’s life is threatened, they will respond with deadly force.
