Amnasty Intershithole Strikes Again
This time, they have come out with a report accusing Israel of committing war crimes in Lebanon.
The human rights group said initial evidence, including the pattern and scope of the Israeli attacks, number of civilian casualties, widespread damage and statements by Israeli officials “indicate that such destruction was deliberate and part of a military strategy, rather than ‘collateral damage.’”
Amnesty International, whose delegates monitored the fighting in both Israel and Lebanon, said Israel violated international laws banning direct attacks on civilians and barring indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks.
“The scale of the destruction was just extraordinary,” said Amnesty researcher Donatella Rovera, who visited Lebanon during the war and co-authored the report.
I guess they haven’t seen these videos of hezbos firing rockets out of residential areas in Lebanon. Even if they did, it would most likely still not change anything. And from what I’ve been reading so far, the report barely even mentions Hezbollah.
Naturally, Al Guardian is on this like a fly on dog excrement.
Now I have not read Amnasty’s report, no do I care to. Reading Pat Buchanan’s hysterical weekly columns is enough for me. Amnasty is an evil organization. After all, they are the ones that whine about how America is the only Western nation that still has the death penalty. They are the ones who complain about the treatment of those poor cute little cuddly terrorists in Gitmo, and I have yet to hear them utter a peep about the status of the kidnapped Israeli soldiers.
