Obama’s goons in the media have pretty much declared war on legal American gun owners by publishing their names, addresses and the types of guns they own. First there was the Journal News, which is a Gannett publication. Now Gawker Media has published the names of legal gun owners in New York City.

Last month, the Journal News sparked a firestorm of protest when it published a mappable database of every licensed gun owner in Westchester and Rockland counties, north of New York City. The paper obtained the data—which New York state law explicitly and unambiguously demands be made public—through open records requests. The reaction was swift and furious—gun rights and privacy advocates published the names and addresses of the paper’s editors in retaliation, and the paper (ironically) hired armed guards to protect against threats.

Below is a 446-page list of every licensed gun owner in New York City. I obtained it from the NYPD two-and-a-half years ago via a Freedom of Information Law request. Because the NYPD is more interested in raping and/or eating ladies and spying on Muslims than it is in honoring public records law, the list contains only the names, and not the addresses, of the licensees. (If you’re curious, here’s what section 400.00 of the Penal Law of New York, entitled “Licenses to carry, possess, repair and dispose of firearms,” has to say on the matter: “The name and address of any person to whom an application for any license has been granted shall be a public record.” The only way to get the associated addresses from the NYPD, as the law requires, would be to take them to court, which no one has apparently done.)

In an effort to harass and humiliate legal gun owners, (as opposed to just reporting the news), the people at White Plains New York based Journal News decided to publish a list of legal gun owner, along with an interactive map.

Obviously, they never cared that these people were either retired police officers, battered women requiring protection from their abusive spouses, and other law abiding citizens. So when they received angry correspondence, they got all scared and decided to hire armed body guards for themselves. I guess it never crossed their minds that they’re seeking to deny for ordinary people what they bought for themselves.

Now it just so happens that Journal News report Dwight R. Worley is also a gun owner. So here’s his contact information (via Chris Fountain):

According to an Editor’s Note accompanying this reporter’s article revealing the home addresses of all licensed pistol owners, “Journal News reporter Dwight R. Worley owns a Smith & Wesson 686 .357 Magnum and has had a residence permit in New York City for that weapon since February 2011.” I’d heard pistol permits were impossible to obtain in New York City unless you were Donald Trump or a friend of the Mayor, but perhaps Dwight knows someone. In any event, should you wish to examine his 357, here’s where to view it:

Furthermore, some ex-crooks have come out against this list on the grounds that criminals will know which homes to avoid, and which ones to focus on.

That was the question for CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and that Brit Piers Morgan during the RNC. They only got off their behinds halfway through the anthem after being heckled to do so.

Typical leftist, elitist “citizens of the world” who have nothing but contempt for America, which they show in their “unbiased” news coverage.

Get a load of Obama and Clinton lapdog George Stephanopolous telling a reporter with a straight face that there’s no liberal media bias.

Of course Stephanopolous would deny it and walk away. After all, he and Obama go back a long way.

And let’s not forget how little Georgie covered up Obama’s Freudian slip about his Muslim faith either.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney is now recovering from heart transplant surgery. However, the people at ABC News have the nerve to ask if Cheney is “too old” at the age of 71, for a transplant. (Sorry, I couldn’t find any embed code on the ABC web page.)

Funny, I can’t imagine the ABC people asking this question if it was Ted Kennedy or Bill Clinton getting the heart transplant.

First we have Obama telling the fawning Matt Lauer of the Today show the following:

Our Founders designed a system that makes it more difficult to bring about change than I would like sometimes.”

I guess his spiel about President Bush leaving him a big mess was getting rather old so now he has to resort to blaming the Founding Fathers. Anyway, moving along…

Next we have the liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg being interviewed by an Egyptian television station. Aside from congratulating Egypt on overthrowing their “dictator” Hosni Mubarak, she advised her interviewer against copying the American constitution going forward. No, she recommended they model their new constitution on that of South Africa!!! If South Africa is such a great place, why is that its most educated and skilled people are emigrating? Why doesn’t Justice Ginsburg just pack up her bags and move there if their constitution is so wonderful?

Finally we have the Obama worshipping New York Times getting in on the act, as they report that fewer countries are basing their constitutions on ours. Here’s what writer Adam Liptak has to say about the U.S. constitution:

Other nations routinely trade in their constitutions wholesale, replacing them on average every 19 years. By odd coincidence, Thomas Jefferson, in a 1789 letter to James Madison, once said that every constitution “naturally expires at the end of 19 years” because “the earth belongs always to the living generation.” These days, the overlap between the rights guaranteed by the Constitution and those most popular around the world is spotty.

Zelda adds: We’re NOT other nations. Nor do we see Americans emigrating on masse to these “other nations?” No! The people from these “other nations” are the ones that routinely come here, either legally or illegally. I should also add that Mr. Liptak’s grandparents most likely fled Czarist Russia or Eastern Europe so they could live in America where their rights would be guaranteed by the constitution. How’s that for gratitude?

Americans recognize rights not widely protected, including ones to a speedy and public trial, and are outliers in prohibiting government establishment of religion. But the Constitution is out of step with the rest of the world in failing to protect, at least in so many words, a right to travel, the presumption of innocence and entitlement to food, education and health care.

Zelda adds: What part of “innocent until proven guilty” and “beyond the reasonable shadow of a doubt” did Mr. Liptak miss? And a right to travel? Who says you can’t just go online and purchase a ticket to where you want to go? But I see the crux of the matter is this “right” to food and healthcare.” In other words, America is no good unless it’s a socialist welfare state, where the government guarantees equality of outcomes between different groups.

It has its idiosyncrasies. Only 2 percent of the world’s constitutions protect, as the Second Amendment does, a right to bear arms. (Its brothers in arms are Guatemala and Mexico.)

In other words, the rights of Americans to protect themselves against and their loved ones from a possible dictatorship, never mind domestic criminals is merely an unusual feature.

Now out of all the prominent American media personalities, why might you ask, has Obama chosen Fareed Zakaria?

Well let’s see. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Zakaria whitewashes and excuses Islamic terrosim. Or how about the fact that Zakaria believes America overreacted to 9/11.? It could also be because Zakaria has blamed Chechnyan terrorism on Russia. Notice a pattern here?

If you’re one of those people who rely on the New York Times and CNN for their news, you would be convinced that Jared Loughner is a rightwing nut job devotee of Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck. And you (I used that word generically in this case) would dismiss any news reports showing Loughner to be a crazy leftist as nothing but fear mongering. What is fear mongering anyway? Personally, I think it’s a meaningless expression that leftists use to discourage people from believing facts, kind of like racial profiling. But I digress.

We now know that Loughner attended a public school whose curricula was funded by the communist (and friend of Obama) Bill Ayres.

He was described by a high school friend as a left wing pothead.
And we also know that Loughner was a mentally unstable misfit, who was rejected by the army, and who had minor run ins with the law. Plus, two of his favorite books were “Mein Kempf” and “The Communist Manifesto.”

Some right winger huh?

And apparently, Loughner was also into the occult, as you can see by this shrine he built in his back yard.

Here’s an old video of Obama cautioning Americans not to rush to judgment after the the Ft. Hood terror attack. And of course his handmaidens in the media parroted him on that one.

Perhaps Obama and his minions in the media should take their own advice.
